The Clear Creek House takes inspiration from agricultural buildings nearby, using two simple sheds back to back. The house is built around expansive views of the valley and creek to the south. The northwest shed is simpler, housing the garage, laundry and utility spaces. This utilitarian nature is reflected in the use of galvalume and rough cedar siding. The southeast shed contains most of the living spaces so more of the metal is replaced with smooth cedar and stone, emphasizing the nature of the spaces within.
